Denturly FAQ’s
About Denturly and Our Team
What is Denturly?
Denturly is a specialist clinic dedicated to full-mouth dental implant solutions, offering high-quality care, cutting-edge technology, and customized treatment for lasting results.
Who is Dr. Patryk Cesarz?
Dr. Patryk Cesarz is the lead implantologist at Denturly and one of the UK’s foremost experts in full-arch implant rehabilitation.
A graduate of the University of Manchester, a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and holder of an MSc in Advanced Oral Implantology from the University of Barcelona, Dr. Cesarz is widely respected for his expertise.
He has worked with national implantology providers such as Evo Dental and 21D, and frequently receives referrals for complex cases from other dentists.
Why choose Denturly for full-mouth implants?
We provide expert-led care using fully guided implant surgery, premium materials, and a simplified 4-appointment treatment process. Our clinics are built for precision, comfort, and long-term success.
Treatment Process
What is the timeline for the entire process?
From your initial consultation to the final fit of your new teeth, the process takes approximately 12 to 18 weeks.
What happens at my free consultation?
You’ll receive a comprehensive clinical exam, 3D scans, and a personalised treatment plan—all free of charge.
How many appointments are involved?
There are four appointments:
- Free Clinical Assessment
- Surgery Day
- Rescan Appointment
- Final Fit
Where can I have my surgery?
Surgery is performed in our specialist surgical hubs located in Manchester, London, and Birmingham. The remaining appointments can be completed in your local clinic.
Can I get implants if I live far from a hub?
Yes. Only the surgery requires travel. We’ll help you coordinate travel and accommodation if needed.
Technology & Procedure
What is fully guided implant surgery?
Fully guided surgery uses 3D planning and custom 3D-printed guides to place implants with extreme precision—within 100 microns of their planned position. This ensures improved safety, accuracy, and long-term success.
What’s the difference between guided and freehand surgery?
Guided surgery is digitally pre-planned and uses surgical guides. Freehand surgery is based on the surgeon’s expertise. Dr. Cesarz is highly trained in both methods and will choose the best one for your case.
How long does the surgery take?
Surgery usually takes a few hours per arch. You’ll leave with temporary fixed teeth on the same day.
Does it hurt?
Most patients experience mild discomfort and swelling for 7–10 days. Over-the-counter pain relief is typically sufficient for recovery.
What kind of sedation is available?
We offer oral sedation (tablet form) and IV sedation. IV sedation is £400 and is ideal for patients who feel anxious about the procedure.
Costs & Financing
How much do full-mouth implants cost?
Our transparent pricing includes:
- Single Arch (Full-Jaw Fixed Implants) – from £9,950
- Both Arches (Full-Jaw Fixed Implants) – from £15,000
- Single Arch Implant-Retained Denture – from £6,950
- Dual Arch Implant-Retained Dentures – from £10,450
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Financing is available starting from as little as £135 per month. We’ll assist you in finding the best plan.
Is full payment required before surgery?
Yes. Full payment (or financing approval) is required in advance of surgery to confirm and secure your procedure
Eligibility & Health Conditions
Can you treat patients with gum disease?
Yes. Many of our patients have been diagnosed with periodontal disease. Our implant solutions are specifically designed to work for these cases.
What if I’ve been told I don’t have enough bone for implants?
Our Denturly Advanced approach often avoids bone grafting by using angled implants and the pterygoid bone for support. Even patients turned away elsewhere may qualify here.
Can I have implants with Type 2 diabetes?
Yes, as long as your diabetes is controlled. You’ll need to provide your HbA1c results from the last year (must be 50 mmol/mol or below) before we can proceed.
Do I need to quit smoking?
No, but smoking more than 10 cigarettes per day significantly increases the risk of implant failure. Continuing to smoke also voids your warranty. We strongly recommend quitting.
Do you treat nervous patients?
Yes. We’re highly experienced with nervous patients and offer sedation to ensure a relaxed, stress-free procedure.
Diet & Recovery
What can I eat after surgery?
Stick to foods you can cut with a fork for 12 weeks—such as eggs, soft vegetables, fish, mince, and potatoes. Avoid hard or chewy foods to protect healing implants.
How long is the healing period?
Initial recovery is 7–10 days, while full osseointegration (bone healing around the implants) takes about 12 weeks.
Will I need a bone graft?
Most of our patients do not require bone grafts, thanks to advanced surgical techniques that maximise existing bone.
What if an implant fails?
We offer a 3-Year Biological Peace of Mind Warranty. If an implant fails or needs revision within that period, we’ll treat it at no additional cost.
Will I be without teeth during treatment?
No. You will leave surgery with temporary fixed teeth so that you are never without a functional smile.
Implant Materials & Prosthetics
What materials are the teeth made from?
We offer:
Titanium PMMA – A lightweight, durable option with excellent hygiene properties
Zirconia – An extremely strong ceramic with beautiful, natural-looking aesthetics
What’s the difference between PMMA and Zirconia?
PMMA is more affordable and slightly softer, acting as a shock absorber. Zirconia is harder, more durable, and offers high-end aesthetics. Both are custom-designed for comfort and beauty.
Can I have Zirconia on both arches?
We recommend Zirconia on one arch only. Having it on both can cause stress and long-term damage due to lack of natural chewing feedback. The other arch is typically made from PMMA or supported by natural teeth.
What is the role of the titanium bar in my prosthesis?
Our PMMA prosthetics include a precision-milled titanium bar to provide superior strength and long-term stability. It distributes bite forces evenly and promotes hygiene by creating a smooth interface with your gums.
Can I choose tooth shape and color?
Yes. We work with you to select the shape, shade, and style of your new smile to suit your preferences and facial features.
What’s the difference between All-on-4 and All-on-6?
All-on-4 uses four implants to support the arch, while All-on-6 provides added stability with six implants. Your clinician will determine the best approach for your case.
Aftercare & Maintenance
Do you offer aftercare?
Yes. We provide comprehensive aftercare to help maintain the health and function of your implants. Our full annual check-up includes a clinical examination, digital X-rays, and a review of your prosthetic and implant condition. This service is available for £495 per year.
How do I care for my implants?
Brush and floss daily, use a water flosser if recommended, and attend scheduled checkups to maintain oral health.
What happens if I don’t maintain them?
Poor maintenance can lead to inflammation or implant failure. Our aftercare plan is designed to help you avoid preventable issues and extend the life of your implants.
Appointments & Travel
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. You are welcome to bring a friend or family member, especially for support during your surgery day.
Do you offer travel assistance?
We can assist with travel planning and recommend local hotels near our surgical hubs to ensure your experience is seamless.
